Verify the “Domestic Hot Water Type” parameter is set to “Tankless”. If not choose tankless.
Press the right arrow key and verify the “DHW Setpoint Temperature” is “170 – 180”. Turning to 180 will start with hotter water.
Press the right arrow key and verify the “DHW Diff Above” is at least 10f
Press the right arrow key and verify the “DHW Diff Below” is at least 5f. If it is you may try turning it down to 2f. Do not turn this below 5f unless you turn the DHW Setpoint temp up to at least 175f.
Verify the setting on the mixing valve is set to 120f to 125f.
Replace mixing valve
Call Tech Services
Is the temperature of the hot water at the faucet at or near the setting on the mixing valve?
Is the temperature of hot water leaving the plate heat exchanger and before the mixing valve higher than the setting on the mixing valve?
Does the flow at the faucet exceed these rates for the combi?
K2-150………3.5 gpm
K2-180………4.4 gpm.
Add a flow restrictor on the inlet side of the combi to have faucet flow meet spec.
The combi can supply a rise in yemperature of 70f to 77f. Reducing the flow below 3.5 for the K2-150 or less than 4.1 for the 1K2-180 will supply higher temperature water at a lower flow rate. Storage may be required.
