No/Low Gas Pressure
(Refer to I&O manual for full instructions and updates)
- Check incoming gas pressure and how much it drops when the gas valve opens.
- Check the minimum gas pressure on the rating label. The maximum gas pressure should never exceed 14″ w.c. as it may damage the gas valve.
- To check the incoming gas pressure connect your manaomer to the inlet gas pressure tap on the gas valve. Before connecting the manaometer turn your gas off. Open the screw in the gas tap at least 3 turns. Connect your manometer and turn the gas on.
Defective or fouled electrode
- Check for cracks in the porcelin
- Clean and adjust electrodes
