Condition
- Sage control 24Vac control power is high or low.
Possible Cause
- Loose connection in 24Vac VAC power wiring. Check connection points on harness to verify all plugs are in tight to and from the transformer.
- Loose or miswired 24Vac harness. Check all other harness connections.
- Miswired wiring harness causing power supply short to ground. Check voltage, usually a low voltage reading is a short. Normal reading 21 – 30 Vac.
- Meter incoming 120Vac. A reading above or below by 10% or more can cause this. The voltage input will affect transformer output. The 120Vac range is 108 – 132 Vac.
- Defective transformer. See testing transformer.
- Transformer frequency, voltage and VA do not meet specifications.
