This versatile boiler is offered in 10 different sizes, accommodating firing rates ranging from 150 to 550 MBH. The Series 49 has an 82% AFUE for the 49-150S through 49-299S models and a thermal efficiency rating of 81% for the 49S-350 through 49S-500 models.
Notably, the Series 49 is designed with expansive internal waterways to enhance steam chest capacity, thereby promoting a steady water line. By eliminating heat transfer pins above the water line, this model exhibits enhanced resistance to corrosion in critical areas. Steam riser tappings positioned in the intermediate sections ensure smoother steam flow, while tappings on both end sections facilitate flexibility in return piping placement, whether on the right or left.
