Douglas Piping & Heating recently brought a Queens, NY home into the 21st century with the BSI installation pictured below. The boiler being replaced was installed back in 1949! It definitely lived a full life, and was due for an upgrade. Let’s hop in our time machine and take a look at what was going on in the world when this boiler was fired up for the first time.
