This past April, Universal Supply Group, RAL Supply Group and S&A Supply teamed up to present the 2012 HVAC Trade Show Extravaganza. Crown Boiler was proud to sponsor Dan Holohan’s “Greening Steam” seminar, as well as a raffle of a new Aruba 4 AWR boiler. Congratulations to Nick Nadorff of Stockbridge Gas Company, based in Stockbridge, MA, who took home a new boiler! Nick got a lot out of the show, saying it was “one of the most informative shows I’ve been to. It’s great that manufacturers are keeping us up to date on all the product changes.” What better way to get to know new products than taking home Crown’s latest boiler?
The AWR is a gas-fired hot water boiler built for reliability, efficiency and performance. It is designed for use with residential and small commercial applications with an approved chimney. The AWR has an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency that varies from 82.8% to 83.3% and the heat exchanger comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
The AWR model is available in eight different sizes, ranging from 38,000 to 280,000 BTU of input. It features a cast iron heat exchanger and a built-in rear draft diverter to fit low spaces. The AWR comes standard with piping on the right side, however it is easily field convertible to left side piping if the installation calls for it. The boiler controls are located inside of the deluxe powder coated steel jacket and are easily accessible from the front of the boiler. Along with being used to efficiently heat the home, the boiler can be paired with an indirect water heater like the Mega-Stor to provide domestic hot water as well. The AWR comes completely factory assembled and pre-wired in a wooden crate for convenient shipping and handling.
