Crown Boiler Company announced the winner of its Home Heating Makeover contest, drawing Richard Mason of West Kingston, Rhode Island as the lucky recipient of a new boiler, as well as $1,750 towards the installation costs. The raffle ran from mid-September through the end of 2010, and drew nearly 1,000 entries. Working with Ed Os, Viking Supply and SmithCo Oil of Wakefield, Rhode Island, a new Tobago (TWZ) boiler was installed at Richard’s home in Rhode Island. “We have been installing Crown boilers for over 15 years, and really like them because they are energy efficient and easy to install,” said Lesley Grimes of SmithCo Oil.
The Tobago is an oil-fired hot water boiler, and can be used to provide domestic hot water. “The Mason’s had some concerns about their old boiler, and didn’t know what to do about it,” Rick Pothier of Ed Os said, “so they decided to enter the contest and were very excited to have won.”
“It’s great that someone who could really use the boiler won, and we’re happy to see it go to such a good home,” said Lee Ensminger, National Sales Manager of Crown Boiler.
Along with awarding the Grand Prize winner a new Tobago (TWZ), Crown Boiler is also offering every contest a free extended five year warranty on a new Crown boiler.
